Painted Pony Ranch Championship Rodeo
June 29th: Regular season starts. BBQ 6-8, Rodeo 8pm.
Wed, Fri, Sat nights until Sept. 1 2007. As the sun begins to set
behind the Adirondack Mountains, that's when things heat up at the
Painted Pony Rodeo. Your evening begins at 6:00 P.M. with the Painted
Pony's world famous Texas Style BBQ. After the BBQ, mosey on over to
the oldest continuous weekly rodeo started in 1953 by Don "Wild Horse"
Baxter. In the rodeo arena, capture the excitement of bareback, saddle
bronc, and bull riding. Hold on to your cowboy hats during the team
roping, calf roping, and steer wrestling, and as the ladies race

Painted Pony
June 30- July 1
Grand
Encampment of the French and Indian War 800 re-enactors depicting
French, Canadian, British, Provincial, and Native American forces come
together on the site of the Battle of Carillon. Military camps,
drills, special programs, civilian life, sutlers (vendors),
demonstrations. Battles each day at 2:00 PM. (Included with regular
admission to Fort Ticonderoga $12 adults, $10.80 seniors, $6 children
ages 7-12, children under 7 free.)

French and Indian War Commemoration
Marathon Swim on Lake George - A 41k Open Water Swim Marathon
will begin at Shepard's Park in Lake George Village and Hague.
World-class professional international swimmers will compete for cash
prizes. Age group (amateur) swimmers will also be invited to compete
in various mini-marathons in Lake George Village, Bolton Landing and
Hague. The distances for these shorter races will range from 1/2k to
6k.
